I mostly spent my time this week drawing some assets and collecting audio. I’ve added a few sound effects to the game, but haven’t added these illustrations yet.
Mostly GUI assets. The basket is to be used for the score, the clock is obviously the timer – hat, cloak/shawl to purchase, then the art for the bonus rewards upon completing the special requests.

Besides that, I also actually did throw the code for the bonus rewards in. The game is a bit easy so I’ll have to tweak numbers for the final product, and add some pizazz.
Can’t forget, I also added the leaderboard. You can now save your score and have it displayed in a tiered list on the main menu.
Win of the week; I’m really happy with the illustrations, but also the leaderboard is cool. I will have to add a way to delete certain entries easily, just in case.
Key Learning: The leaderboard had me looking into ways to save information across different playthroughs.
