This week I worked on the UI design, but I also got a bit distracted. I tried to include a way for the cookies to drop into baskets for some visual interest, but I ran into a lot of pitfalls. Namely, animating them dropping then disappearing. it would re-trigger the falling animation and glitch them all.
After struggling for awhile, I decided to reevaluate. Maybe I dont get rid of them? I thought it might be a cool level of difficulty if cookies scattered all over, so I pivoted to do that instead of fighting against it.


I can include a way to clear the board, too, which adds in some interesting gameplay. I ended up really liking this – as bob ross says. Happy accidents. I’d consider that a big WIN! (Of the week) and a key learning (stepping back and approaching the problem again after a breather lol)
Due to the whole cookie thing:
Stress: 10/10 at first, then back to 3/10.
Satisfaction: 0/10, then back up to 9/10!
